Patti & Frank Bradford are respected breeders of 10-12" Jack Russell Terriers on Long Island, New York since 1983. Frank was first introduced to the small breed with big attitude by Janet Fredericks of Tall Tree's Terriers, one of the foremost breeders of short legged Jack Russell Terriers in the Tri-State area. Meadow Brook JRTerriers has had the good fortune of making some very good friends in the dog fancy world and over the years we've been able to add some quality outcrosses to our breeding stock including Austrailian and Dutch lines.
We are dedicated to preserving and promoting the "Slightly Longer than Tall" Jack Russell Terrier and strives to adhere to the AKC Russell Terrier breed standard. Our goal is to produce a beautiful dog that is healthy in both body and mind, a dog that could win Best In Show or just win your heart.

I have been a Registered Nurse for 20 years and work as an IV nurse at a local hospital. As a breeder you come across some situations where nursing skills come in handy, and while delivering puppies is not an experience you get in nursing school my "Ladies" have been the best teachers.
I really enjoy the friendships I have made with so many of the people I have sold my puppies to and I am also very fortunate to have forged friendships with other JRT breeders. I am now taking Owner-Handler classes with my girls Lilli & Jazzy and I plan to start showing in AKC & UKC Conformation.

Frank owns the Frank Bradford Insurance Agency and is also a professional photographer, check out his photography website www.bradfordphotography.us. He helps out with the Jack's and puppies a lot but his favorite dog is Casey our Golden Retriever. He is also an accomplished equestrian and is President Emeritus of the Nassau Suffolk Horsemen's Association.
