We are select breeders of short legged Jack Russell Terriers
located on Long Island, NY. We have dedicated over 25 years to breeding "shorty" Jack Russell Terriers with distinctly calm temperaments, sound
conformation and keen intelligence. MeadowBrook JRTerriers has a carefully controlled breeding program with only a few litters each year, ensuring the best quality 10"- 12" Jack Russell Terriers to represent the breed. Our puppies are all
registered either with the AKC foundation stock service and/or the UKC.
We
hope you enjoy browsing our website and find it both informative and
entertaining. Please feel free to call or email us with any questions
you might have and we encourage you to visit our home so we can
introduce you to our pack of Jacks and hopefully match you up
with the perfect new best friend.
AKC Judge Ronald H. Menaker awarding Best of Breed ribbon to Owner-Handler Patti Bradford and MeadowBrook All That Jazz
January 11, 2010 MeadowBrook JRTerriers made history by being among the first Russell Terriers to participate in an AKC dog show. MeadowBrook All That Jazz made us all proud by taking Best of Breed in the Miscellaneous class at the Saw Mill River Kennel Club all breed dog show in White Plains, NY.
Press Release: MeadowBrook Brecken runs in the NYC Iams Doggy Dash! Join him July 18, 2010.
For far too long, canine athletes have faithfully trained alongside their human counterparts, only to be left on the sidelines on race day. No Longer! The Iams Doggy Dash gives man (or woman) and best friend the chance to compete in tandem over a 5 miles run course. Sign up for the Iams Doggy Dash with your canine companion which will be held July 18, 2010 during the 10th Annual Nautica New York City Triathlon. Race with Brecken and the other 2010 competitors.
Although Brecken is the youngest and smallest dog in this year's field, you'd be unwise to count him out. The one-year old Jack Russell Terrier has been running 10-15 miles a week since he was just a few months old. When not helping to socialize other pooches at the Fitdog Sports Club, Brecken spends the bulk of his time training, hoping that he and owner Brandy can prove the old adage that the size of the fight in the dog is more important than the size of the dog in the fight. We'll all find out if it's true this July.
The UKC "Total Dog" philosophy promotes breeding for balance between form and function resulting in healthier, happier dogs that look and perform equally well.
